The Taggalong Shop

The History

The Taggalong name has a rich history rooted in a passion for preserving the past. It all began in the 1950s with Ella and Bill Tagg, who operated the beloved Tagg-Along Shop in Ship Bottom, Long Beach Island. After Bill’s passing, Ella transformed the shop into an antique store and museum, dedicated to vintage toys and collectibles.

In the late 1990s, Scott and Elsie Tagg continued the family tradition by opening The Factory Antiques in a former sewing factory. Their knack for curating unique treasures turned The Factory Antiques into a cherished destination. Today, Taggalong Vintage carries forward this legacy, blending nostalgia with modern finds to create a unique shopping experience that brings the best of yesteryears into the present.
